WELCOME

catherinegeorge.com is the my personal web site. I am an artist and instructor. I've been creating all my life and enjoy working in many mediums, which include painting in oil, acrylic, and watercolor, and sculpting in bronze, clay, and tin. More recently, I have been creating jewelry with sterling silver, gemstones, crystal, lampwork, bali silver, and seed beads. Once in a while I will pick up my, as yet unfinished, family quilt; which is a combination of crazy quilt and amish styles, with beading, silk ribbon and embroidery, photos on fabric with watercolor wash, tea dyed lace, and pewter findings.
